SAUK SIGNS TRIO OF STERLING ATHLETES

SAUK TENNIS ADDS TRIO OF STERLING ATHLETES, BASKETBALL ADDS ONE

Sauk Valley Community College Head Tennis Coach Sara Kipping announced the signing of three Sterling student-athletes to the Sauk program for the 2019-20 school year.  

Sonia Chino comes to the Skyhawks from Sterling High school.  She is shown signing on the campus of Sauk with Coach Kipping, her parents Angel and Tammy Chino, and her sister and brothers Lucia, Marco and Samuel Chino.

Madeline Jacobs joins the Skyhawk roster, and hails from Newman High School.  Pictured at the signing ceremony at Newman High School is Coach Kipping, parents Frannie and Joe Jacobs, grandparents John Jacobs, Fran McEachern and Joe McEachern, and cousin Jacob Rude.

Chloe Klein from Newman High School will pull double duty for the Skyhawks, as she suits up for both Tennis and the women’s Basketball team. Pictured with Chloe are parents Angie and Ron Klein, and Sauk basketball coaches Michele Kreczmer and Jordan Johnston and tennis coach Sara Kipping.
